Mending

Whether it is a quick repair or a slow, meditative stitching practice repairing what you have is good for the soul and good for the planet.  Rainy Spring days are a great time to take stock and mend your garments.  Look at your winter layers, wash and stitch up snags and tears before it is all tucked away until fall.  Then move on to your summer items, so you are ready to throw on those light and lovely linens and cottons and soak up all that the season has to offer.
