Needlepoint Canvas - white, 18 count, mono

• 18 count, also known as 18 mesh (there are 18 holes to stitch per inch of canvas)
• 100% cotton
• Mono canvas --mono canvas means that there is one fiber running left and right (weft) and one fiber running up and down (warp)

The suggested needle for 18 mesh canvas is a Tapestry size 24

Use either 1 or 2 strands of a crewel weight yarn for 18 count canvas or the full 6 strands of embroidery floss.  There are limitless fibers available for needlepoint, try stitching a small sample to determine the best fiber for your particular project.
